Zion National Park
The Narrows is one of the world’s best slot canyon hikes, and the most popular hike in Zion National Park.
We woke early to be on the shuttle before the crowds. The trail is basically the Virgin River, and the canyon narrows to the point that the river covers the bottom. Wearing our river shoes, we hiked in water that ranged in depths from our ankles to our waists. It was an 8 mile round-trip hike up to Wall Street; the canyon narrowing and the crowds thinning along the way.
